Should W2 follow same pattern or can it be started after a rest day which would be Friday?

There are no strict rules but a common pattern is to stick to 3 runs a week with a 2 day rest between weeks. So for you that would be Sat/Mon/Wed with Thu/Fri being your 2-day non-running break.
As stated in the guide to the plan, C25k weeks do not have to coincide with calendar weeks. As long as you make sure that you have a minimum of one rest day between sessions, you can arrange it to suit yourself.
Today I took on board the advice given in the guide plan ...
"Running is running, wherever you do it".
I completed W2R1 at home on a treadmill.I found it to be a lot easier for me to control my breathing and pace!πΆββοΈπ
Finally the treadmill gets to come out of the corner π
