I started the whole Couch to 5K to join in a work fundraiser despite polite disbelief from family and friends, after all I am famous for not having broken out of anything faster than an amble since 1997!
I stuck with the Couch to 5K programme - the first few weeks felt so awfulI contemplated giving up. The fundraiser happened in my Week 8 and I will admit to great pride at being part of the event, able to post my sweaty selfie rather than just congratulating ๐
I completed run 3 of week 9 on Friday and while not managing 5K in 30 mins by the time I add the warm up and cool down walks Iโm just about there!
Ironically I pulled my left calf muscle on the way round so havenโt been out since and have my Covid-19 jab on Monday but you know, I might just carry on ๐โโ๏ธ
