Today it dawned on me that running is a journey, not a destinationπ±π€!!!
Without diving too deep into a metaphysical rabbit hole, for me it means running just like life itself is not fixed. It is full of twists and turns...πͺοΈπ¨π it will change, you will change-but as long as you πΎ , you are doing all right...

Brilliantly worded limu_mu running is a journey! It can take you to where you either let it take you, or alternatively you can choose, either way is unique in its own way.
The effect it has on us, this simple muscular action of placing one foot in front of the other is mind-blowing. The way it makes us look at ourselves, from the food we eat, the energy we emit, that whole sense of wellbeing... I mean why would you not want to run.
Good on you for ditching those stats, running free, is one of the greatest pleasures we can treat ourselves to.....
Rather like the TalkTalk TV advert where the actor suggests he's "completed the internet", we can never "complete" our running project so measuring any "progress" is always an illusion even while it motivates and/or entertains us. What are we REALLY measuring ourselves for and against? Happy plodding! ππ΄ββ οΈ
