You can now add an image when you are replying to a post!
Look for the 'moon over the mountain' icon when you are writing a reply. HU are TESTING this feature here on C25K, so any feedback you might like to give would be much appreciated! It will be rolled out to all the HealthUnlocked communities soon.
Give it a try πππ
EDIT: Please do note that this feature does not work on the iOS HealthUnlocked app, so if you want to post or view images in replies you will need to log in via your web browser!

You can tell I'm bored at work today, had to try this out straight away. It takes a long time loading, but it works. Nice view across the Kent Weald in summer.
I fear this post will have opened a can of worms.......πππ .but seeing as the thought of a picture of a can of worms isnβt very pleasant I think Iβll give it a go some other time
I didn't know there was an app but never mind being android anyway .....just seen this post too and how great you can add pictures in comments now π I can remember being told you couldn't in the 2020 challenge at end of last yr as we all found 2020 examples!!!!
We were really hoping to have images in replies in time for the 2020 Challenge, and the Speed Challenge too! It's available across the whole HealthUnlocked site now πππ
These replies are great! I wonder how long before we break HU with this image filled post? π This was our view of the city last Saturday on our lakeside run. CN Tower in the clouds
π’ok, app does not display images in replies. We knew that. But just tried out sending a pic on the app by reply, but canβt do that either. ππ«π₯ (I love the app but this will drag me over to the web browser π, which ironically does not feature images as well as the app) π’π₯
I see - that is nice! This is one of the reasons why I like using the newsfeed, because post images do get previewed in there. I can certainly ask why they don't have it for individual communities on the website versions...
Yes, that would be a great solution, as well. I donβt use news feeds very much as strangely my S&F seems never be represented. And Iβm into that at the moment ππ§π½
Not sure, the more I think about it itβs logical. See if this makes sense:
- oneβs news feed excludes oneβs own posts
- Iβm the person at the moment ( but not for much longer I believe) posting the most messages. Most activity in S&F happens in replies, but as it is my posts, I donβt see them.
So someone else than me might see S&F more often than I do, but then other forums obviously have much more traffic.
Does this from your knowledge seem logic as an explanation?
No. I can see all my own posts in the newsfeed, you should be able to also.
Other communities do have more traffic - how many do you follow? I have 11 on my list, but most of them are not very busy, maybe you're swamping your newsfeed?
