Graduation Day!

Can't quite believe l've managed to complete this programme. I'm 56 and haven't run since l left School a very long time ago, so to have achieved this is absolutely amazing. I felt so self conscious when l started this that l took my dog with me and she's accompanied me on every run. I don't think l could have done it without her by my side, running ahead and waiting for me to catch her up, and then keeping so close to my heel on the way back that l wondered where she was at times. I've found everyones posts on here so inspirational and they have really helped me to stay focused and keep going. I didn't quite reach the 5km but that's something for me to aim for over the next couple of months. This is my running buddy, Belle.

We definitely will. I was going to go solo last week just for one run but she knows that when l put my running gear on she gets a walk too so l couldn't leave her behind.
