Morning all. I got to week 7 run1 and was struck with achilles tendinitis on left side. I was absolutely gutted as was enjoying it so much. It was back in September but do get occasional pain when walking still. Should I just go for it and go for a run? And start right back at the beginning of week 1? I need to get back to it as my mental health improved dramatically with the running and walking just doesn't have the same effect 😒

If you do head out then start at Week 1 and take it vey gently. Listen to your body... and if there is the slightest pain... and you will know if it is pain. Then do stop.

Google Bob and Brad Achilles, they have a great video teaching you how to massage your Achilles tendon to help relieve symptoms 👍🏻
