Thursday last week, during my run I went over on my ankle again... I cried, not because it particularly hurt, but it meant I couldn’t finish my run and needed to rest until it’s better.

I didn’t post anything at the time because all I seem to do lately is share how I’ve not managed a run, or moan about isolating. Tomorrow I’m going to attempt a run, fingers crossed I’ve rested my ankle enough.... I honestly cannot wait to get out again. I desperate to finish this bloody thing lol

I think that photograph describes your feelings at the moment HC, sorry about your fall the other day, just rest until the injury heals, are you sure you are ready to run tomorrow? , I certainly wouldn't want you to fall again, perhaps a few more days off running to be on the safe side.

What a pain! - in both senses.

Best wishes, Hattie, for tomorrow. I hope the ankle is recovered and that all goes really well.🤞🤞🤞

Have you tested your ankle in a walk or a short jog? If so, my fingers and legs are crossed.

Sounds like you really want to do this! Great, go for it, but watch out for tricky bits of ground. I was running through lovely leaves and tripped on a hidden tree root, luckily rolled into railings rather than going full stretch :)

Ankles are funny things. They don't show up injuries as quickly as you might think.. If you have the slightest twinge, give it another day.
