Week2 run3 with a slight incline setting 1..

Really didnt fancy running today had a two day gap instead of one and felt i had let myself down. I had been so busy for those two day at my allotment as i hadnt been there as regular as i normally wud. So I spent 2 whole days there 🍅🍎🥒 weeding and harvesting was to knackered to run wen i got home! So today was the day and I felt groggy plus a woman monthly does not help..sorry guys! Then i thought I had upset someone which funnily enough gave me the push i needed to gt on my treadmill..usually i wud start cleaning up the house if im worried or upset or angry 😈 but the treadmill seemed more fun. So i put alexa on so i cud listen to music as i hadnt on my other runs. I put treadmill on number one incline and decided to slow my pace down on the brisk walk and the 90 sec run. This was a lot easier plus it wasnt so hot this morning. First 90 sec i noticed a strange feeling in knee that had had a key hole surgery on some few years back( but its difficult for me with my multiple sclerosis as i never know if its that or something else). Anyway it went i think my legs were adjusting to the slight incline. The pace was better for me to.. I may knock the pace down again for week 3 first run. Enjoyed the run I was not so hot or red in the face and body wasnt pulsating all over. Before I knew it I was on last run, I was starting to think hurry up im thirsty then Alexa started playing shine like a diamond that done the trick gave me that last push!☆☆☆ No stitch as of yet, my breathing was steadier the pace wasnt a struggle..so apart from my belly still wobbling I felt a lot better and happier for going for it..I have to stay committed cause the voice in my head likes to tell me to leave it and dont bother or u cant or why are u bothering , so i answer them and tell myself why I am. Week 3 1 run on monday shall only leave a day in between, as I can easily start putting it off then I'll end up stopping. Im going all the way with this program ♡ p.s got myself some new running trainers today 🤗 so glad I don't have to wear a mask while running 😷

I think everyone, even those without prior problems, has had little things happen with their knees in the first couple of weeks. It should pass. Unless it's painful I wouldn't worry.

Great post........you got this!!!

Make sure you stretch after every run as linked to in the guide to the plan, while muscles are still warm and supple, it pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.

The knee strengthening exercises linked in the guide are also highly recommended.
