I finally achieved 5k last Sunday !!
And I started this program at the outset of lockdown. I was struggling with the frustration of the slow progress I was making - it just didn"t seem to be working for me. Then a good friend and experienced runner ran with me last Sunday. Or more precisely, she ran in front of me and forbade me to pass her. The pace was significantly slower than I normally go at (and fail at), but it immediately felt right, and 38 minutes later, it was done. And I could still stand ! So what I am saying is - listen to the advice that is repeated so often on this and other sites. Run or jog as slow as you can, even if you could walk faster, and you will get there. Good luck everyone.
