Back to square one!

After a nasty ankle injury at wk6, I finally feel ready to start again. I haven’t been able to do anything but walk for months now so am dreading it 😢

So, back to wk1 run1, it feels terrible saying that, but need to build up slowly again and not just bc of my ankle. I know I feel my ankle after a shift at work(i’m a nurse), so I am trying it on a day off!

Anyone else come back to this after an ankle injury on here? How did you find it ?

Keep going everyone x

Good luck Millie. I imagine the first few jogs will be confidence builders. But I’m sure you’ll kick it’s ass.

Thanks Maxi80. Well, it was much easier than I thought it would be! Happy happy days, totally smashed it. My ankle is niggling, but more importantly, I surprised myself by managing the jogging with ease!
