Knee is clicking after w6r1

Jigglyjiggly_puff profile image

I dont think I pushed too hard, but after my run my left knee is clicking really loudly (more so when I'm going down the stairs). Its a little achey and feels like built up pressure or something. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do? Will it get better? Can I still run?

Ouch, does it hurt much? I'd give it a rest tbh. Have you had knee issues before and are you using the nhs knee strengthening exercises?

I'd recommend doing them just to avoid any injuries in the future.

No I've never had knee problems before. It feels like built up pressure in my knee. I'm 35 years old and this is the first time I've experienced any knee issue. Its not really painful. I really want to complete this c25k, I hope it doesn't jeopardise my program! I'll start doing knee exercises thanks

Clicking knees don't normally signify anything serious as long as there is no pain.

You would probably benefit from doing the knee strengthening exercises linked to in the guide to the plan.

thanks, I'll search for some knee exercises. It feels like built up pressure in my knee that needs releasing somehow!
