When I bend my left leg to straighten it, my knee feels as though something is being stretched and it’s sore. Like extending a rubber band. Like a burning sensation. It’s towards the left hand side.
I noticed it before starting running a couple of months ago. It’s not all the time. It’s more so after I’ve been sitting for a while. I’m hoping it’s nothing serious 🤔?
There’s no way I’m stopping C25K. I’ll just run with it.
Thanks

Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow, as recommended in the guide to the plan.
Many people do not hold their stretches for long enough or put enough effort in. Hold post run stretches for 30 seconds and make sure the pull is strong enough to be on the verge of discomfort.
Also knee strengthening, as linked to by nowster will help build strength in all the supporting muscles.
