Stuck on week6 Due to sore knees

Hi. Looking for some advice. I’ve been stuck on week 6 for a few weeks now. Runs themselves have been ok - but the day after the run my knees get sore and I can barely walk. It takes over a week for them to recover. I’ve got good running shoes - is it worth getting a knee support to use whilst running?

I would avoid knee supports. Far better to do knee strengthening exercises (look at James Dunne for example on YouTube) and also consider going to see a sports physio and/or a sports podiatrist. It's possibility that your feet may need support , so insoles for example.

Your GP can refer you. Or if you can afford it, pay yourself.

I agree with knee strengthening exercises. I also find cycling on my rest days really helpful for general knee strength. 😄
