Winter is coming

Ok still a fair way off, but I’m wanting advice from folk who have run over winter.

My routes are rural and I know from walking the dog years ago (she popped her clogs several years ago) that you can’t see your hand in front of your face on some stretches of the routes.

Do people in similar locations run with torches or other form of lighting?

Or do I sack it off and head to a gym treadmill over winter?

Or do I just run down the busy main roads footpaths which at least mostly have lighting?

Decisions, decisions .....

Head or body torch is your best bet.

I prefer a head torch as you can look around.

Headtorch, lots of high viz reflective gear. Car drivers need to be able to see you if it's dark. Good luck. 😊

Head torch bought, may as well stock up slowly.

It’ll also be handy for camping I think as well.
