How do you do your consolidation runs?

I’ll be doing my first consolidation run in the morning and I was wondering how others do it. Do you listen to the week 9 podcast again? Or set a timer for 30 minutes? Or any other way?! Thank you!

Congratulations for completing c25k🥳🥳 Its totally up to you how you consolidate your runs. A few people do listen to wk9 for a few weeks some don't. You could try both and see how you feel. Good luck 👍 😊

Thank you! You get so used to someone telling you what to do through the programme!

For my first couple of runs post graduation I listened to week 9 again as I still needed that encouragement. However now I just listen to music or the radio. I tend to run the same 5km route so I know where each 1km milestone is, so easy to know how far I am against time. Whilst I’m not fanatical about speed or distance I found keeping track of your runs (via Fitbit for me) does help with motivation as it’s great to see yourself improving over time. Good luck.

Thank you 😊. I’ve got a Fitbit but need to have a play around with it to find out what it can do.

Hi - Good for you! I'm a few weeks past nine but still learning too. I have found the Couch to 5k+ Stepping Stone podcasts really useful to figure out my timing/ distance/ pace. Now I intermix those with my own music. Good Luck

My first consolidation run and I used the W9 podcast ... for me it worked hearing the count down

I haven’t listened to the pod casts since my last run.... I did use the Nike running app but it keeps going wonky on me so I’ve been listening to “run pod” which is a running podcast with Various different interviews about running. It works sometimes. I like running to music too but I’ve hit a slump so trying new things
