Hello - I am such a lurker reading about people getting through the programme, buying new socks (!) and carrying on running. But it is so helpful to have the forum, thank you
I have continued since graduating - after a little injury break to rest an ankle, and am even enjoying it now. Running for 30 minutes (or sometimes, 38 mins!) gets easier, who knew!
I have a goal to run 7km by 7 September. I ran 6km the other day doing one of the excellent C25K+ podcasts (the stamina one) - I enjoy mixing up some instruction, which has helped with pace, and just going out for a run to my own music.
Do you have tips for what else will help me get to 7km?
I'm having fun running so want to run longer distance, and hope if I run longer my 5k time will come down (eventually!).
This could be a very long post if I ask about how to strengthen ankles, get into discussion of running shoes, or talk about how running has shaped my lockdown experience so I better leave it there!
