Hi graduates, any advice for getting to 5km after you graduate? I’m nearly done and can nearly do 30 minutes but I’m not at 5km yet. Any tips or programs you used?

Just keep running to 5k however long it takes. Your pace will improve over the weeks and months. What helped me was bridging to 10k so if you fancy that, hop over to that forum. You won’t get sub 30 unless you run further I think really unless you’re one of the 10% who can managed it on graduation. Hills are great too. Join a club too 😍
thank you! i’m definitely going to try to get to 10km - after i get my 5km

Hi I am not there yet either ! I have completed 21 consolidation runs and running further. Most I have done is 2.5 miles and 38 minutes but I am seeing a gradual progress on a weekly basis and am just setting my app to do longer runs . Have also joined the bridge to 10k forum and following Ju Ju's plan to have a goal each week. You will get there for sure !!

Just keep increasing you distance a bit each week. The further you go the more you fitness and stamina builds 🙂
