Is having your hair done this evening for the first time in 126 days good enough reason to blag an extra rest day tomorrow ? So you can bask in having salon beautiful hair for a day? Normal service resumed thereafter. Asking for a friend...

Haha! Absolutely it is! I’m impressed that you (they?) counted the days! It seems like a lifetime ago being at the hairdressers. Such a rare treat now definitely deserves to be indulged, and it would be disrespectful to ruin all the hairdressers good work by getting all windswept and wet! Please reassure your friend that an extra day’s rest is the respectful thing to do! 💇♀️ 😃
Clearly said friend ( ahem😜) has too much time on her hands if she is counting days! Also said friend is a numpty who didn’t consider running schedule in haste to get hair appointment sorted!
I’m liking the respect angle... almost as good as using safety features as a reason for buying more running gear ( see earlier conversations...)
Hahaha! Yes!!!! I’m due to have my hair done on Thursday and am already thinking of the messy sweaty nest it will be on Friday after my run 😫 Maybe you could comb it into place and pop an attractive hairnet on for the run to keep it in place 😉
Tell your friend that rest days are very important, no need to feel guilty now they are a proper runner, hair is very important - possibly equally as important as running I told MY friend this morning that it's raining, why run and get wet, there's always tomorrow when the weather looks better. My friend took my advice, so your friend should too
🤣🤣I must admit my friend felt very smug this morning when she realised she was off the hook and it was raining 😜
I know it’s silly but you do have factor in hair when run planning - it’s all the faff afterwards of washing drying etc and I don’t want to be doing that more than I have to!!
First world problem I know ...but the struggle is real!
