I just ran for 25 mins for the first time in 30 years!
This run felt so much better than runs 1 and 2. After running for 20 mins in wk 5, I found stopping and walking again tough.
Once through the toxic 10 mins and settled into my (slow) pace, I started to really enjoy this run and found it easier than expected......not that it was easy in any shape or form.....I just thought it would be more of a struggle than it was given the previous 2 really tough runs.
looking forward to wk 7 now!

Well done you. I've been amazed by this programme and how its allowed me to run for 25 minutes non stop. You should be really proud as it's a great achievement!
It’s such a good programme, I nervously look forward to each run. It’s amazing that you can progress at your own pace and the support on this forum is very welcome! The sense of achievement is a great motivator to carry on!
“Officially a runner”. Now that sounds good.....and something I would never have thought possible a couple of months ago! Thanks for the encouragement 😁
