Hi all, I am on W3R2 and thinking about getting some decent running shoes but am bewildered by reviews and types. Dont want to spend a fortune but want good enough shoes. Any similar people out there who can recommend? I cant go to shops to get advice but do want some good supportive shoes. I have no particular gait or problems other than being a lumpy older lady 🙃🙃 any advice appreciated.

Hold on a little while, running and sport shop's will soon open again, then you can go and get a gait analysis and buy the recommended shoes.

Not sure where you are but running shops are open now in England.
I went on Monday and had a gait analysis done and came out with some great running shoes after a lot of advice from knowledgeable staff

This post about shoes may give you some guidance and explain why the recommendation from somebody else may be meaningless at best and hazardous at worst healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
If you can get to a specialist running shop and have a gait analysis then you can reduce all the risks of pot luck by buying over the internet.
Good shoes are far cheaper than a physio.
Thank you all. Will look into sports shops to help!
