W8 R1 - channeling my inner πŸŒπŸŒβ€™s to reach 28

I took it steadier at the beginning today (tried hard not to think about the calf pain at all), so when Jo said 14 mins, half way, if you think you have a little extra and want to go for it a bit..........and you know what? I did! 😊.

Don’t get me wrong I was still firmly channeling my inner snails 🐌🐌 and I wasn’t able to keep it up all the way but it felt really good to have a little bit extra to give. Although I was ready by the end for Jo to tell me it was time to stop but I was so pleased I was able to do it all without wanting to collapse into a heap. I’m really noticing how quick I recover afterwards and how much quicker I can walk back now too as well.

When Jo says you really are now a runner (switch this to jogger in my brain) I’m actually starting to believe it now, I really am starting to feel like one πŸ˜€.

I’m over the moon 28mins done πŸ₯³

Well done here we go not long now till we’ve can say we’ve done it. 5 more snail jogs. !! Yes I agree re the recovery I stagger around for a minute but then am able to walk quite well !! Amazing. I was a bit gutted Jo didn’t give me the minute to go warning as I usually try and go a little faster then just to show willing. Found it rather too warm for a good time but at least we did it. Go us πŸŒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸŒπŸŒ

Well done! I left my turbo 🐌 until the last 5 mins. I almost had a heart attack when she said you can pick up the pace half way through πŸ˜‚
