Couch to 5k with Avulsed hamstrings

Hello, just wondering if anyone out there has the same as me? I have fully detached hamstrings on one leg and I’m on Week 2 Run 1. I did week 1 for two weeks and I think I’ll be progressing slowly but steadily. ( I didn’t have them reattached) Just wondering if anyone has any tips for the hammie?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

I can't help on your specific condition, but perhaps your GP or specialist can give more pertinent advice.

Enjoy your journey.
