So I decided to repeat my week one runs until I felt better about the running part - for me the thing that's stopping me is the pain in my hamstrings. So for my next run I will do W2R1, but after a rest day and some serious stretching tonight, tomorrow morning and evening.

I don't know if I need to push through the pain or just stop focussing on it or whether its right to stop and let my legs recover in between.

Friday is meant to be insanely nice weather so I will try again, do WK2R1 and push through the leg pain.

Quite encouraging is the fact that I am not out of breath in any way, its just my legs that hurt. So I think that once that's addressed I can keep running for longer - just gotta get over the painful parts.

Proud of myself for keeping going and this makes Day 9 of my running journey, with 4 runs and 1 14k walk. Not too shabby.

Well done for keeping going, most people have pains at the beggining. Do those stretches but don't overdo them, drink a good amount of water today for your run tomorrow too.

Do your warm up walk and dynamic stretches just before your run and static stretches to cool down after a cool down walk. Use some pain relief gel if you need.

Good luck, keep us posted with your progress.

Stay safe 🌈. 😊
