Hi everyone

I’m onto week 2, will be doing run 2 tomorrow. Just wanted to say that I’m loving reading this forum, it’s so helpful. Especially the beginners article, loved that.

I tried to do C25K about 6 years ago, but got terrible shin splints. I saw a physio at the time who said I needed to work on walking distances first, so I gave up running. I then became too frightened to run again.

I now walk a lot further than I used to, and since being in lockdown, do workouts everyday from home. I decided to give C25K a go again, and so far I’m loving it. I go with a friend (locked down together), who speeds off ahead of me, then comes back for the interval walks. I’m so proud of myself for getting over my fear and starting again. This forum is definitely helping, so thank you!
