Painful feet (souls)
Pain in the sole of the foot could well be plantar fasciitis, which needs to be addressed, but I am not medically qualified and it could be something else.
Are you wearing good supportive running shoes?
Just done some reading about it on Google. Didn't even know thus was a thing. Thanks IannodaTruffe, I'll consult a gp first and if necessary a podiatrist.
Good shoes can make all the difference.
Still getting this pain several weeks later. I've not got passed W1R1 And have been using C25K for months. Some days my feet hurt so bad I cannot complete 1 min run. But I keep trying every 2nd day. I've got some new trainers. Nike 270, a lot better than anything before but still getting painful feet. Reading up on plantar fasciitis i came across these specially designed inner soles, cost me £25 and thought I would give them a try too but it's still no good.
Because of the corona virus pandemic it's really hard to see my doctor as they're advising patients to stay away. But im losing faith in my GP and C25K...
I know I'm a little overweight but since January I've lost almost 2 stone (24 lbs) and want to do more and I'm cycling too...
Just wanted to vent my frustrated progress.
