This is literally just a quick post to tell everyone to be safe and be careful where you run! I'm so self conscious about people seeing me run so I go up a country road at my house... But today I believe I was being followed by someone who was waiting for me. I had to phone my dad to drive up and pick me up. Was very scary so please everyone be safe! And please run where there are other people near by! Xxxx

Good that you took your phone with you. Worth letting the police know. Some people just get a kick out of the thought that they are scaring women, and that's bad enough.
I rarely run where there are other people, especially just now - I often have the woods completely to myself. I always used to run with my dog Google - who once didn't half tell off a man who was behaving a bit oddly. Now I have to run without her I make more of a point of telling others where I am going and for how long.

There were incidents of a flasher on a path I run, which was reported on our local Facebook , as well as to the police. It’s a sad world that there are people like this around, taking the enjoyment & safety out of people’s activities.
