So its been 3 weeks since my last run...Damaged my knee quite badly during W1R3, i think it was my tendons. Pretty sure I just took it too damn fast. However, the pain has gone and furlough has been extended so back on it today! I've started week one again and my pace is snail like but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I hurt my knee and was wondering if running when it stops hurting (trying to do the nhs knee strengthening exercises too) will be possible.

A lot of my pain is due to not ever having run and my body adapting to a new form of exercise..however I would strongly recommend waiting until all your pain has gone before starting again. Slow your pace down and see how you get on. I am also going to be doing some more stretches and strengthening exercises so fingers crossed this helps too!
