Hi - this is my first post here and I just wanted to say how encouraged I am by everyone's posts. I have just finished week 2, but managed to trip over a paving stone in the garden and have hurt my ankle - not enough to show any bruising, but enough to hurt when I put weight on it. So I will probably have to rest for a few days then repeat week 2. Reading about other people's progress despite aches and pains in knees (me too!) has encouraged me to think that maybe this is something I can do. My aim is really to improve my cardio-vascular stamina, and if I can join in a parkrun eventually that will be a bonus. I'm 62 and so far only my husband knows I'm trying this, as I'm not very confident about my abilities.
