I’ve just started week 4 and found it tough. I’m having to run on a running machine as I have kids and can’t get out on my own as hubby is a key worker. Any tips to stay motivated? Thanks so much!

Like you I'm on week 4. I feel like I'm no way a runner so dont feel qualified to give any expert advice other than I'm at the same point as you and if you have got this far you can physically do it!! I'm my opinion its definitely where you need to mentally challenge yourself. This will sound silly but I try and smile during my run enjoy it tell my self positive things like how fit I'm becoming what I have achieved so far and more importantly then anything I put on music that makes me happy. By the time I've finished singing along to my favourite tunes the run is over...I think what I'm trying to say is take your mind off it dont overthink it and enjoy...I hope this helps x
Yeah, just do it ✅. Don’t think about it. It’s like you’re on auto pilot. Go very slowly and think happy thoughts 💪😃👍🏃♀️
When it’s done have a cuppa and feel like you’ve conquered Everest. 🙂
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

If you can get outside at any point, then please try it.
I would not be a runner if running only consisted of being on a treadmill. Outdoors will be different and at first possibly challenging but offers ever changing vistas, fresh air, vitamin D and you get to go somewhere, rather than stare at a wall.
Enjoy your journey.
Thank you. I think that's my challenge, the treadmill is ever so boring despite music. thanks for the advice!
