After a long break I did week 1 on Thursday, and i was expecting it to be hard, but it was a breeze. Feeing cocky, I decided to do w6r1 (the two 10s) which is where I left off last time. And I did it!! Ran 3k, not including the warmup/down walks. It was a hot one too. Hope everyoneβs doing ok π

Take care.
We are all capable of doing way more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increasing our injury risk. Sticking to gently progressive training plans is the safest way to push our limits, whilst gently increasing our resistance to injury.
The fact that you haven't run for quite some time will mean you need to recondition your body to the impact of running.
Take it easy that's a big leap in your running, the risk of injury is immense

I went really really slow on soft impact ground, so I think Iβm ok for now, Iβll make sure to have my rest days though
