Hi all, hope whoever is reading this is good health and not feeling too down about the news. While I'm in no way trying to trivialise the virus outbreak, I'd just like to remind us all that we only have the present, so lets get out and run on this lovely day and enjoy the moment. Wishing you all well xx

Excellent view. Luckily, individual running looks like one of the safest activities we can do. Happy running, at every level and wherever you are. 👍🎉🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️And happy strength & flexing too, if that’s your day. 👍

I think things like these are a lesson about living for today and how tomorrow is guaranteed to no one!

Yes! And also, rejoice in the possible rather than focusing on the limitations.

What I was doing was I was looking for the gifts in this and lessons to learn as there's always a valuable lesson in these events you can learn for the better.

Today what I did was have a relaxing morning in the flat, went out to the local shops for some provisions like milk and some treats and walked there and back and I have now settled down on the sofa with a mug of tea to watch Jerry McGuire with Tom Cruise in it without guilt!

I was angry though when I found out the trip had been cancelled but had a think of what doors have opened and what I could do instead so went out last night which I enjoyed and decided on a quiet morning and a walk for today and Jerry McGuire.

Me personally always has a number of other options on the go when I am reliant on someone else so if the first thing falls through I will do any of the backup things that I fancy.

Hi catgirl, sounds like we had very similar day. I also took a walk to the shops, did not stockpile rice and loo roll, but filled a basket with what i needed and threw in a pack of chocolate biscuits in as I felt I deserve them.

This is a unique experience, the entire planet is at the mercy of this outbreak, so for me, it takes that feeling of being a victim away. Wishing you and your loved ones a healthy and content weekend x

A lesson from events like the coronavirus and the recent floods and the snow in 2010 is that much of life is beyond our control.

What we can control is our behaviour and attitude towards it.

The wales v Scotland game is off and I was like those people who were looking forward to it must be really disappointed and how there's lots of disappointed people around due to things being cancelled and how I wasn't the only one disappointed when a trip was cancelled I was due to go on today.
