Slow start to the weekend! ๐ŸŒ

Well- disappointed with this morning's run (if you can call it that), I barely even got going and don't think I ran for more than 5 minutes at any time. Having done 30 minutes earlier in the week I'm feeling a bit flat after that ๐Ÿ™„

Going to keep telling myself that it was just a bad day - I wasnt feeling it as soon as I woke up, so probably all in my head. Also my third run of the week where I usually only do 2, so maybe that's a factor too.

Oh well, onwards and upwards! Sure next time will be better ๐Ÿ™‚

We all have those runs!

I'm sure it's mostly in our head. I've been the same. From the moment I've got up, I've not been in the mood. Makes for a very hard run.

But as you say, there is always next time!

Thanks, yeah I know you're right, sulking about it just makes the next one harder too

We all have those days, just move on. I've decided they just makes the good runs better. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Just a not so good run I agree. I had a horrible run earlier this week - I did the time but it was very tough! Good luck for your next outing! Extra rest days are good I think if you feel you need them

I'm only at the end of wk 5 but found it unbelievably difficult to do the 20 minute run, having been okay during the build up runs this week. Right from the start my breathing was all over the place. Do you more experienced runners find that there's a best time of day for you?

Was it cold? I find that can mess with my breathing. Otherwise did you set off a bit quick?

I try running at different times, but I have found generally my evening runs are better than those in the morning, yes. Others will tell you the opposite though! It's just finding out what works for you

All of the runs so far have been in the evening, this was my first morning run. It's not as cold as the evening runs. I'm trying to keep slow at the start since over doing it back in wk 3!
