Following last weeks disappointing W6R1, the rubbish weather, niggles in my legs etc and the return to intervals I gave myself a week off. Had a lovely weekend away in Dorset with family and got back into the programme with a repeat of W6R1 last night. I was strangely nervous to go out after only a week but it was cold and dry and all went surprisingly well! Ok my earphones fell out, lace came loose, phone armband slipped down and almost off but I ignored the negativity and ploughed on. The usual first run 5 mins was a bit cranky but after that I settled in and it was ok. Looking forward to a rest day today, stretching later and back to W6R2 tomorrow. I’m glad to be back...
