Hi i had cranial decompression, stroke, im looking to lose weight, feel good, get out the house more , i live in walsall uk, spend too much time indoors alone so..onwards

Sorry to hear that you have been through so much with your health, and good for you for taking some control! Couch to 5k is a great way to get outdoors and get fit. And this community will really help you get there. Have a look at the link below. It will give you some tips on getting started.

Once you get comfortable with running, you could consider going to a Saturday morning parkrun event (there is bound to be one in your area). You don’t have to run it all - lots of people walk it or do a run/walk combo when they start. The running community is a really friendly one, and it is a great way to meet new people and even make some running friends. 😊

Great decision to start C25K! It's a wonderful way to build up your fitness and get outdoors. I started back in March 2019, not really expecting to keep it up but to my amazement I really got the running bug! And this forum is great for support, advice and encouragement so keep posting - we'll be cheering you on. ☺
