Educating Enid - veggie soup but no need for bread!

Highly recommend homemade vegitable soup to warm you up after a run today. I had to explain to Enid that you don't need half a crusty loaf with it. (We have not run off that amount of carbs.) She was not happy.

Dragged my inner Enid out for Wk 8 Run 3. The happy inner glow kept her warm and quiet. πŸ˜‰πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ So proud to complete week 8...onward and upward.

Wonderful news. You’re onto week 9 😊 I agree vegetable soup is fabulous but the bread can be tempting.

It is my big weakness (not just Enid's). Yeah, I can't wait for Thursday but worried about the cold. Didn't go out until 11 due to frost and slippy pavements etc. So worked in my running gear until the sun came out. Good job I work from home. πŸ™ƒ

πŸ‘πŸ˜„ I’m with you on the bread thing. Don’t care at all about sweets, but oh that crust. Never mind. Tell Enid if she runs lots & lots (over 10k), there comes a time when bread calories will be ok sometime! Meanwhile, yummy veg. πŸŽ‰

Sounds like a plan...If I can get her out running then bread will be our reward. πŸ‘

Crusty bread is just too tempting, especially if warm πŸ™ˆ

Well done on both counts! 😁

Great you've now completed wk8 and yes home made soup is lovely. My favourite bread for soup is a tiger bread bloomer 😊

Well done and well done to Enid. Surely after a run just a little bit of crusty bread would be allowed!

Doing my week 8 run 3 tomorrow!

Excellent! Looks like the pussy cat was showing some interest too. One more week to go for you and Enid, but I hope that doesn’t mean the end of the paintings 😁
