Why does nobody warn you before you take up jogging about the withdrawal symptoms on recovery days. I want to run! ππ½ββοΈ

Withdrawal
The number 1 rule of C25K is not to run on consecutive days, you can do other excersises or go a good walk, go a bike ride, yoga but not run, withdrawal symptoms, hmmmmπ
I did go for a good brisk walk, but I would like to take up yoga, though Iβm not too sure where to start o that as there is nowhere round here that does yoga classes. Looks like YouTube for me
Iβm thinking the exact same thing this morning. Iβm going for another run πββοΈ today x sod it. Do it mun. Just not all the time π
Do watch out. Running produces tiny tears in the muscles that need time to recover. Itβs part of the strengthening process but too much, too soon can bring injury.
How to stop yourself is to remember this: you don't get fitter on running days, you get fitter on rest days as your body recovers and prepares itself for the next stressful event!
Swimming is great on rest days, I've just got back from the pool.
I got this so badly last week, I ended up doing another run I have a core exercises spreadsheet that I should be doing on rest days but I wanted to go outside as it was nice and sunny, naughty!
You're not from Buxton are you? Anyway, I'd prefer to sleep.
