Well done

That's a long day, but really well done for getting out there! That's real commitment!

Especially well done after a long day, but it will get easier in the weeks to come, and you will start to not only enjoy it but miss it too. I run at lunchtimes but decided not to yesterday as the weather was so grim. I was grumpy all afternoon and ended up doing a treadmill session that evening - not half as good but better than nothing.

Keep going and well done again.

I know what you mean Steveoz. We got over that by running before work. We leave the house at 6 am (earlier is we have an early start) and get the run in first. Back home for a shower and off to whatever we have that day. Not only does it get the job done, but it is a beautiful time to run. It is also a lot cooler in the summer.

We go out, only putting on our running gear and "dirty!" It sets us up for the day and once home again in the evening, we don't have to leave the house again. Maybe worth a try? But whatever, good luck with C25K

Any chance of running in the day, during breaks for example?

Very rare I stop anywhere safe enough to run

Fair enough, but I wouldn’t rule it out. Just a few minutes during the day or after work (as you’re doing now) will make a big difference 👍

Hi Steveoz, stick with it as running is a great stress reliever. I worked 13hr days this week but ran Wednesday evening in the driving rain & wind. Difficult seeing through fogged up glasses 🤓 but gave me opportunity to put things in perspective. I run 3 times a week sometimes at 5.15am & sometimes evening. Prepare my week’s food on Sunday & pot up each day’s meal. Saves time during the working week for sport & my social life. Trust in this app as it works & keep posting on this fantastic supportive forum. Good luck with week 3 😊👍
