I started Wk 2 Run 1 yesterday! I definitely felt a significant difference in ease with the running, but as I was nearing the end of the run my legs were really starting to ache! I did a warm stretch & cool down stretch but my legs are still a bit sore this morning!
Iv got the gym today too! π€¦ββοΈ so let's hope I can get on the bike & treadmill without flopping over! Xxxx

As stated in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.
Make sure that you are following the advice on minimising impact and hydration.
Thanks! I have been stretching properly with the runs! I jog lightly but my brisk walk is very brisk! I might slow my walk down slightly! I survived the gym π
