Consolidation frustration!

Managed fairly well over Xmas to keep the runs going, feeling good about graduation, and keen to keep going. Fell over in London Saturday Eve, (without the aid of alcohol -all my own work) now have badly bruised ribs and elbow. Not able to run for couple of days. Any advice on how long to rest for. Physio said do what I feel like. Head says run. Body says no way. Hope I don't go to far backwards. ☹️

Ooh ouch Tippyrunn, that sounds nasty - hope you’re on the mend soon! Can’t help on how long you should rest except to say listen to your body - it knows best! Happy healing!

Hope you're not in too much pain Tippyrunn. You know your own body better than anyone , I'm sure you'll know when you're ready to run again😊

Listen to your body...if it says no... you don't run... and be sure the runs will wait. I would also think maybe of changing the Physio.. who should I feel, be giving you slightly more accurate advice... they are supposedly experts ?

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Yes, listen to your body, but you could try some brisk walking. Best wishes
