Has anyone experienced their toenails bleeding... - Couch to 5K
Has anyone experienced their toenails bleeding at end of a run? This has happened 2x to me. I did trim my nails, still happens. Ideas?

New trainers?

As Starburst1218 says, 'get new trainers', if you wish, you could go to a specialist sports shop, get a gait analysis and buy the recommended shoes and socks to match, I have found out that since buying running shoes I cut my toenails more often than I used to, new shoes and cutting your toe nails a bit more often should stop the bleeding.
I didn’t use to know that you need to buy trainers a half size bigger than you do your shoes. Is this possible? Or do you normally get a half size bigger?

It is most likely your shoes are not accommodating spreading of feet when you run.
