Ah, Canada is so beautiful and hard to leave, especially with family over there. I have relations in Vancouver and am looking forward to being able to run over there next time I visit, but that won't be in ice and snow! Welcome back to ploughing through the mire over here....☔🚜

I've been mixing it up so far, as I've been using a treadmill because of the dreadful weather we've had in uk ... I'm sooo not a fan of wet 🌧. Strangely I'm finding the treadmill more demanding on my legs! Plus a couple of longer runs outside - including one 5k but with 2 walking breaks and one with my younger dog .... who was great. I love joffling outside ... inside is a means to an end tbh. Looking into trying some of the C25K+ podcasts soon as I'm missing the structure of the plan. You've been doing brilliantly .... amazing what you have achieved 👍😃. Thanks for asking.

Sounds great! It’s good to have the option of the treadmill but even better to have a dog to enjoy the great outdoors with you! My next target is a parkrun. Feel ready for it now. Xx

It's really hard when family are so far away isn't it. I find goodbyes get harder. Well done for running in such cold conditions.

Yes... feel quite bereft😢 & you are right the partings become more painful. However I always love coming home & have much to be thankful for. We are a close family & keep in touch on WhatsApp etc

Not doing quite as many as I should as the tracks round me are very wet and slippery at the moment but doing at least one 5k per week. Still slow but maybe doing a fast snail now 😊
