One big milestone. You have been working towards 30 mins, so just look at it as 66% of what you will be doing in 3 weeks. I’m sure you will do great. 👍🏻

Haha yep 😃 you can totally do it though 💪🏼 Remember each run prepares you for the next and if you start off really slowly then it’ll be a breeze. Good luck!

Don't worry , all the runs up until now have prepared you for it. 😊

I’m doing that run on Friday too (hopefully) and got lots of lovely advice from the people on here when I asked the other day. I have my Spotify running playlist all ready. Got a feeling I will need a boost!

I've made it to week 8 and remember well the trepidation of that 20 minute run. Turns out it was easy though, just go a bit slower.

You’ll have no problem everything you’ve done till now has prepared you for this one, the tricky bit is going back to intervals next week. Keep the faith in the plan, in us but most of all in yourself - you can do it and you’ll feel fantastic after.

Well done, look how far you t have come in 5 weeks.

This might help put it all into perspective healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You can do this .

That was my last run and I was so nervous as 6 weeks ago couldn’t run to the end of the road. I did it. It hurt and after 5 minutes I thought no way. You push through it. At 15 minutes felt could have kept going longer. Or sucks you in this programme. My husband starting tmrw as he’s seen me doing it and enjoying so much. Good luck you’ll do it too!

Tell your gremlins “This is what I am here to do, RUN” & then go out and do it ever so slowly with a great play list 🎶 & your encouraging mentor in your ear. All the previous runs have prepared you! You can do it!

yes I am at exactly the same point as you and will be doing W5 R3 on Friday - I find I have been better at this week (so far) than I thought, so I'm going to keep that in my head. For me it has been all about the self regulating of speed and breathing ... Good luck!

Well done !!! Yes I made it too, felt really good 1st 5 mins then probably ran too fast, paid the price at the end, always have trouble pacing myself. Felt amazing after though!!

Don’t remind me 😣 I’ve got it next week.

Seriously though, I’m sure the plan gears you up for it, and you CAN do it 👍😁

It's so good to hear of all you others doing their first 20 min on Friday like me. I am really surprised at all I've managed to do. I'm 68, so one of the older ones in age, but not in my head.

If you can run wk5r2 then you can do it. Pace yourself and take it steady. I did it today and it was great!

Funny, I see a lot of posts about wk5, either worried about it or celebrating achieving it, but no one seems to find it impossible! Weird to be on the other side of that, as you will see very soon 👍👍👍

Believe in yourself, you can do it.
