All runners need good core strength. When I suffered similar, it was soon cured by planks and bridges.
Google core strength exercises for runners.
So perhaps I search out some suitable exercises I could do?
That's my recommendation.
Thank you, I’ll give that a try. I took your advice from earlier in the week and had gait analysis yesterday so armed with suitable trainers now 👍

Hi, yes I have had lower back pain niggles on and off throughout the programme and from memory wk 4 was one of the first times I noticed it. I find some Pilates stretches helpful and oddly going for a very slow, light jog helps, often ending them with no pain! I have to stress my experience is of very low level pain that doesn't impact on my daily life or inhibit my movement - it is just a niggle or a stiffness really. If it is anything more serious than that I would seek advice from a qualified health professional. Best of luck!
I have lower back problems and take TUMERIC supplements. It is an alternative herbal medicine and seems to do the trick for me : Turmeric and especially its most active compound curcumin have many scientifically-proven health benefits, such as the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer's and cancer. It's a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis.
