Good place for running or cycling, that photo looks as if it's in Holland, not England, nice area to live and run in.

It's brilliant until traffic comes then I'm up & down on the grass verge and all I can think of is ... I hope dog walkers have picked the poo up LOL

Where about are you. I used to live in Soham but moved to TRNC

in reply toJonno34

In Lincolnshire ~ we drive into Lincoln every so often just to walk up & down steep hill :-)

I would really suffer..I run so slowly on the flat...it looks beautiful though..x

It is beautiful, because it is so flat the sky seems to go on forever which gives me something to focus on while I'm plodding along :-)

🤣 Those lovely Fen roads can catch you out too. Some are so bumpy they act like a roller coaster when you driving🤣 We used to live in Little Downham near Ely but I wasn’t a runner in those days!

I would be bored silly.............give me hills any day!!

in reply toIannodaTruffe

I totally understand ~ on our weekends away I always take my running gear so I can not only run somewhere new but also to experience some hill work !!

We need a house swap for a week....i dont have a single route without hills in the midi pyrenees.

No doubt the hills improve your fitness massively, no wonder your fitness is outstanding :-)

Bless you, its not outstanding...I describe it as not bad for an old girl...plus I have a slave driving husband who is ex marathon runner who tracks my weekly mileage and sets the alarm clock.

I have a gite and im seriously thinking of offering it up for discounted running holidays next year....could be fun.

in reply toFranglaise

Running holidays sounds brilliant, good luck with your future plans x
