well this is a fine how to do.
I finished my 5K and was plodding on nicely 5K every other night but I reported to my doctor weeks before of some chest pains which went after about 4 days on week 1 but it took him 12 weeks before I went to hospital for my check up.
They gave me a treadmill stress test and got my blood pressure 260/140 and ever since then I've had uncomfortable chest pains.
It has all settled down somewhat now now, and I went into Papworth heart hospital for an angiogram, prepared for stents etc but apparently my coronary arteries are pretty good with just mild cardiovascular disease in one and according to them I'm in good shape and pretty happy about that at my age 70.
It has meant that I've not been able to run during this period in case the results were adverse, so I'm back to week one just about I'm really gutted about that.
Now now I've received another letter from Papworth and they want me to go back in 1 months time I'm for a chemical stress test and MRI and I'm just wondering whether it's really worth it all all and I should think what the heck just start back on week one again.
I would be really interested if anyone had I would be really interested if anyone had been in a similar situation themselves.
