Just done the big one : week five run three- with the help of Jo Whiley who is just the best! For the first time instead of empty paths or pavements I went to my local park.( cannon hill) Sunday military fitness was in full swing and real runners were everywhere!! Kept my head down and plodded slowly along: but I did it!! Absolutely amazed . I think I prefer solitude but hey! Some of them must be less fit than me???

It’s such a fantastic moment & you did it! You ran for twenty (count em!) whole minutes - and nice and slow & plodding along all counts! Some of us still run that way!
I suspect I always will! Thanks!!
I run using the Japanese slow jogging technique because it makes the running pleasurable while doing it! So I’m definitely staying slow!!
