When I started running in April, two of my goals were to take part in Race For Life and complete a Parkrun.
After doing those, I set myself a target to run 5K under 30 minutes (expecting it might take a bit of time to achieve).
Yesterday I did a Parkrun and my time was 29:49! I couldn't believe it. I knew I was close to 30 minutes but I didn't think I'd broke it.
I have to mention the group who I've been running with. This Girl Runs, are absolutely amazing. They follow a scheme similar to Couch to 5K.
