Hey all!

Just finished week 2. Rocking on to the 80s rock anthems of my youth today which was marvellous! Eye of the Tiger, Final Countdown, Ghostbusters (!) Also threw in some Robbie Williams for fun 😀

Anything else you’d add? What gets you motivated on a run?

On Spotify the free version, there is a playlist called Born to Run. Includes some of the tracks you have already mentioned. I use that quite a bit.

Thanks for all the ideas! I’ve had a lovely time looking at playlists 😀 Have added a few firm favourites, again from my youth! That seems to be what motivates me. A good beat, something that I want to sing out loud to, and that has happy associations. (I’m sure there must be some interesting scientific research about what motivates us on our runs, and how the mental and physical interact.)

So next time I go out I’ll be listening to Aha Take on me, Van Halen Jump, Queen another one bites the dust, Katrina and the waves walking on sunshine 😂 and a few others 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Blondie one way or another, Atomic Savage Garden and Affirmation. 80’s stuff is good running music 🎵
