Did a short one today to mix it up a bit but legs like lead!! Got into it eventually and pondered that I didn’t hydrate so well yesterday. Determined re first ParkRun on Saturday and worried now I’ll not be able to manage it!!! Gawd, such a worry wart 🤣🤣🤣

You’re gonna be fine... hydration may have been out, which you can remedy for that parkrun... and it may also have been one of those tough runs we get from time to time, the next is usually much smoother. You’re gonna have a ton of support on Saturday... set off nice and slowly for the first few minutes and then just relax and enjoy the experience.

Thank you, I’m looking forward to it but not used to running with people 😊

I wasn’t either... I tend to run at the same time as my daughter but rarely running with her... parkrun is pretty amazing though.

Probably just needing more water as you said. Of course you can do parkrun, just plenty to drink each day . Good luck 😊

You'll be fine, sounds like you're right about the hydration. My legs felt quite heavy this morning too, I think also for the same reason. And also it was a cooler morning, so sluggish limbs took a bit longer to warm up. Maybe a really thorough warm-up before the parkrun will help with that.
