Hi Maz.. I have Done all 7 weeks on my treadmill. I have found all the weeks hard.. it is definitely more of a mind game than I thought. But at the end of each run there is a huge sense of achievement.. keep going 😄

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It would be totally counterproductive for us to tell you that a certain week is the toughest...........far better that you just face this challenge one run at a time, after reading this healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Don't go looking for difficulty.

Relax and enjoy the journey.

Hi Maz1234,

I have done the majority of my training on the treadmill (just completed week 8). I have run outside a couple of times but find indoor training easier due to asthma.

Don’t worry about who struggles where, we are all different, just go at your own pace.

Good luck, you can do this!

I've done weeks 1-5 on the treadmill too. One thing that might be worth doing, is setting the incline to 1 degree (or higher). Googling around "suggests" that will make the treadmill more like running outside, and you'll supposedly find it easier to transition.
